From the 4th of next month, Pyeongtaek Godeok~Yatap Station '6802' Express Bus Service Begins
On the 26th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will operate the 6802 metropolitan bus running between Pyeongtaek Godeok International New City and Yatap Station in Seongnam City starting from the 4th of next month.
The new metropolitan bus route starts from the Samsung Electronics stop within Godeok International New City, passes through the Songtan area, then travels via the Gyeongbu Expressway to run between Pangyo Station on the Shinbundang Line and Yatap Station on the Suin-Bundang Line. The city expects that with this new route, it will take about 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes to travel between Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus and Pangyo Station.
Three buses will be deployed on the new route, operating 12 times a day with an average interval of 90 minutes. The fare is set at a basic rate of 2,800 KRW based on transportation card usage. Transfers to Seongnam City buses, subways, and other transportation are also available.
While the existing 6801 route running between Pyeongtaek Jije Station and Seongnam only passes through the southern area of Pyeongtaek, the 6802 bus will be accessible not only from Godeok International New City and the northern area but also from Jinwi-myeon (Jinwi Station), which is expected to reduce commuting burdens for citizens.
