Yongsan-gu Announces Designation of International Business District and Public Inspection Notice... Two-Week Period from February 26 to March 11
Public Inspection and Opinion Submission at Six Community Centers Including Yongsan-gu Office, Ichon 2-dong, and Hangangno-dong Near Project Site
Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will conduct a 15-day public review announcement of the "Designation of Yongsan International Business District Urban Development Zone and Development Plan (Draft)" from February 26 to March 11.
This is a follow-up procedure following the submission of the proposal for the designation of the International Business District on the 14th.
The review locations are the Urban Planning Division on the 7th floor of Yongsan-gu Office, and the community centers of Hangangno-dong, Wonhyo-ro 1-dong, Wonhyo-ro 2-dong, Yongmun-dong, Ichon 1-dong, and Ichon 2-dong around the project site.
To facilitate residents interested in the development plan (draft), the district has expanded the review locations to six places in addition to the district office, and plans to assign project personnel at these locations to provide detailed explanations promptly upon residents' inquiries.
Residents who have opinions on the designation and development plan (draft) of the Yongsan International Business District can submit their comments by filling out the resident opinion form provided at the review locations.
After the public review period ends, the district will expedite administrative procedures such as consultation with the Yongsan-gu Urban Planning Committee to ensure that the city can complete the zone designation within the first half of this year.
The Yongsan International Business District development project is a core project of the "urban space transformation" that will contribute to Seoul entering the world's top 5 cities. The project area is 495,000 square meters, which is twice the size of Yeouido Park.
The project method involves the project implementers, 'KORAIL and SH Corporation,' first establishing infrastructure and supplying land lots, after which the private sector will proceed with development on individual parcels.
