Hwaseong-si Hosts 'History Talk Concert' Commemorating March 1st Movement Day
Lecturer Choi Tae-seong Introduces Independence Movement in Hwaseong Region
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a 'History Talk Concert' at the Nodun Art Hall in the Modunurim Center, Namyang-ri, Namyang-eup on the 1st of next month to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the March 1st Movement.
At this History Talk Concert, the famous history lecturer Choi Tae-sung will vividly and interestingly convey the independence movement in the Hwaseong area in 1919 to the citizens. Lecturer Choi will especially reexamine the historical value of the independence movement in Hwaseong and provide detailed explanations of how the Jeam-ri and Gojuri massacre incidents became known worldwide.
The concert is open to all Hwaseong citizens who can participate on-site without a separate application, and pre-registration is also available through the Hwaseong City integrated reservation system.
