The SPC Safety Management Committee also reviewed the status of acquiring international standard safety certifications promoted last year. Established after the Pyeongtaek plant accident, the SPC Safety Management Committee recommended that SPC Group obtain international safety certifications such as ISO45001 and FSSC22000 for major production facilities to establish a global-level safety management system.
Following the committee's recommendations, SPC Group completed ISO45001 certification for 16 major production centers including affiliates Paris Croissant, SPC Samlip, SPL, and Baskin Robbins by the end of last year, as well as FSSC22000 certification for all 30 factories. The remaining production facilities, such as some central kitchens of Dunkin' that are still pursuing ISO45001 certification, will also complete the certification promptly.
