Myeonsarang Enters French Market... Products Sold at Carrefour and Others
Launch of 6 Types of Frozen Myeon, Sales Outlets Expanded Until June
Myeonsarang announced on the 20th that it has entered the French market and is selling ready-to-eat meal products at local stores such as Carrefour and Leclerc. Myeonsarang began selling products in France last month and plans to expand the number of local stores carrying its products to 300 by June.
The products exclusive to the French market include six types: three frozen container noodles?Kimchi Bokkeum Udon, Vegan Jikhwa Jjajang, and Tteokbokki Beombuk?and three frozen pack noodles?Janchi Guksu, Shrimp Tempura Udon, and Katsuoyu Bu Udon. The export-only products were developed considering diverse tastes and religious preferences. The three frozen container noodles?Kimchi Bokkeum Udon, Vegan Jikhwa Jjajang, and Tteokbokki Beombuk?have obtained KMF Halal certification, and the Jikhwa Jjajang frozen container noodle is currently undergoing vegan certification.
Myeonsarang is actively engaging in marketing activities to gauge local reactions in France and promote its brand. From January 30 to February 9, a ten-day Carrefour in-store event was held, featuring tasting sessions for consumers. Additionally, various launch events were conducted at Leclerc, marking the start of full-scale marketing activities. Myeonsarang plans to expand its product range overseas to include not only frozen products but also room-temperature cup products such as udon and tteokbokki.
