Yeongjin College Awards 2,387 Associate Degrees, 363 Bachelor's Degrees, and 28 Professional Master's Degrees
Top Graduate Jeong Ji-min
Yeungjin College (President Choi Jae-young) held the 46th graduation ceremony on the morning of the 16th at the International Seminar Room on the Bokhyeon Campus in Daegu, awarding degrees to 2,778 graduates.
The ceremony was attended by Yeungjin College President Choi Jae-young, university administrative professors, graduates, and their families, and was broadcast live on YouTube.

View original imageAt the graduation ceremony, 2,387 students including Ha Min-ah (Department of Early Childhood Education) received associate degrees, 120 students including Choi Hye-won from the Department of Nursing received bachelor's degrees, and 243 students including Kim Yoo-jong (Department of Computer Information Engineering) received bachelor's degrees through the bachelor's degree major enhancement program.
Notably, 28 students including Kang Byung-ha, the first graduating class of the Precision Mechanical Engineering Department established in 2022 to cultivate highly skilled technical professionals, received professional master's degrees in technology.
The overall top graduate was Jung Ji-min (Department of Pet Care), who received the Foundation Chairman's Award with a perfect semester GPA of 4.5.
Additionally, in the foreign student category, the highest academic achievement award for bachelor's degrees went to Kasun from Sri Lanka (Department of Computer Applied Mechanical Engineering), and the highest academic achievement award for associate degrees went to Miyagi Risa, a Japanese student (Department of Hotel, Aviation and Tourism).

Jung Ji-min (24), the overall top graduate, said, "During COVID-19, I worked part-time at a dog daycare and received positive energy from the animals, which inspired me to become an animal health technician. I am honored to graduate as the top student." She added, "After gaining experience working at an animal hospital where I secured employment, I hope to grow into a professional animal-assisted therapist who can heal people with emotional pain alongside animals."
In the classroom of the Park Golf Management Department, which produced its first graduates on this day, juniors hung a banner saying "Congratulations on your graduation, seniors" and presented gifts to celebrate the first graduating class.
