Suwon City Supports Installation Costs of Pollution Control Facilities for Small-Scale Businesses Emitting Air Pollutants
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will provide financial support for the installation of pollution control facilities at small-scale businesses classified as types 4 and 5 that emit air pollutants.
On the 16th, Suwon announced that it will invest 250 million KRW this year to carry out the "2024 Small-Scale Business Pollution Control Facility Installation Support Project," which supports small-scale businesses emitting air pollutants with costs for replacing outdated pollution control facilities and installing or attaching Internet of Things (IoT) measuring devices.
The support targets businesses that have operated pollution control facilities for more than 10 years and those whose mandatory IoT measuring device attachment deadline has arrived. Suwon will cover up to 90% of the installation and attachment costs.
