Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Ranks First Nationwide in Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation
Selected as an 'Excellent' Institution for Two Consecutive Years
Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 15th that it achieved first place nationwide in the ‘2023 Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation’ jointly conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and was selected as an ‘Excellent’ institution for the second consecutive year.
The ‘Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation’ is conducted annually targeting a total of 306 institutions including city and provincial offices of education and central administrative agencies, to provide civil services desired by the public and to improve inadequate civil service handling practices that cause inconvenience to citizens.

View original imageIn this evaluation, Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education ranked first nationwide among the 17 city and provincial offices of education at the provincial level.
The evaluation was conducted through document review and satisfaction surveys on five categories: ▲civil service administration strategy and system ▲operation of civil service systems ▲handling of civil complaints through the National Sinmungo (online civil complaint system) ▲handling of grievance complaints ▲civil service satisfaction performance.
The Provincial Office of Education received excellent scores above the average in all evaluation categories, and especially received the highest level ‘Grade A’ in the grievance complaint handling category. In addition, it earned high marks for immediately identifying patterns of collective grievances as soon as complaints were received and preparing alternatives in advance by predicting potential occurrences through big data analysis.
