April 19th at Jangheung Fire Station Auditorium
Teams of up to 8 people performing short plays
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 15th that it will hold the "13th General Public Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Competition."
The competition will be held on April 19th at the Jangheung Fire Station auditorium. As the importance of CPR increases, this event was organized to raise awareness of emergency treatment and increase the rate of CPR performance among the general public.
Teams of up to 8 members will form a group and act out a response to a cardiac arrest situation in the form of a short play.
The competition categories are divided into two groups: Students and Youth, and University and General. Twenty-two teams that won first place in each category at the preliminary competitions held by each city and county fire station will participate in the Jeonnam competition.
The first-place teams in each category at the Jeonnam competition will participate in the "National General Public CPR Competition" to be held in May.
The "General Public CPR Competition" at each city and county fire station is scheduled to be held in March according to each fire station's schedule, and interested participants can apply at their local fire station to join the competition.
