POSCO, Amore, and Others Join Hankyung Business Association... Regular General Meeting Decision Tomorrow
Possibility of Kim Sun-hee, Vice Chairman of Maeil Dairies, Joining the Next Executive Board
POSCO Holdings, Amorepacific, KG Mobility, EcoPro, and Maeil Dairies are joining the Korea Economic Association.
According to the business community on the 15th, POSCO Holdings and others have submitted membership applications to the Korea Economic Association. At the 63rd regular general meeting held the following morning, the agenda to approve new member companies is expected to be decided. It is reported that more than 10 companies will join the association this time.
Major information technology (IT) and entertainment companies such as Naver, Kakao, and HYBE have reportedly not submitted membership applications. Naver and Kakao were key companies that the Korea Economic Association had been considering for membership.
A business community official said, "Kakao is focusing on management reform including internal controls, so it is not easy for them to join the Korea Economic Association, and I understand that Naver also thinks it is better to join together with Kakao."

There is talk that Kim Sun-hee, Vice Chairwoman of Maeil Dairies, may join the next chairman group in the future.
