Recruiting Women Aged 19-55 Living in Geumcheon-gu with Both Singing Ability and Volunteer Spirit
Up to 16 Members to Be Selected Through Practical Test and Interview

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it is publicly recruiting new members to join the "Geumcheon-gu Women's Choir," which contributes to the development of local culture and arts with beautiful harmony.
The choir was founded in 1995 and has enhanced the district's prestige by winning various national competitions and contributing to the promotion of district administration.
Currently, 29 members are active, and up to 16 new members will be selected through a practical exam and interview. However, if no suitable candidates are found based on the evaluation results, no one may be selected, and additional recruitment will be conducted later.
General members are being recruited. Eligibility requirements include adult women aged between 19 and 55 who meet the following criteria: ▲ have a residence or workplace in Geumcheon-gu ▲ have an interest in singing and possess vocal talent ▲ are willing to improve their skills as artists and serve the local community ▲ have no disqualifications under Article 31 of the Local Public Officials Act.
Applicants wishing to join must submit the application form and other required documents by February 27 by visiting the Culture and Sports Division of the district office in person, sending by registered mail (70, Siheung-daero 73-gil, 11th floor, Culture and Sports Division), or via email. In-person submissions are accepted only on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the application period, and mail or email submissions must arrive by 6 p.m. on the deadline day.
Application forms, resumes, and other documents can be downloaded from the "Notices/Announcements" section on the Geumcheon-gu Office website.
The practical exam and interview will be held on February 29 at 10 a.m. in the choir practice room at Geumnarae Art Hall. Evaluation criteria include vocal ability, musicality, tone, posture, volunteer spirit, and sincerity. Successful candidates will be individually notified of the results on March 4.
Selected candidates, if without disqualifications, will be appointed as members of the Geumcheon-gu Choir for two years (renewable) and will participate in ▲ regular and special rehearsals ▲ regular concerts ▲ various local cultural events ▲ external activities.
