Convenience store Seven Eleven has newly released the ‘Guwon Maraling’ snack, featuring ‘Mala,’ a representative spicy flavor popular among young people. Guwon Maraling is a ring-shaped snack made by air-roasting corn flour lightly, delivering the rich taste of Mala soup in snack form. Mala seasoning is sprinkled all over the snack, with additional Mala powder added in spots to further enhance the tingling spiciness of Mala. Seven Eleven plans to strengthen its spicy snack lineup by launching a new ‘Gochujang Ring’ snack based on red chili paste within the first half of the year.
HiteJinro officially launches luxury tequila ‘KOMOS’
HiteJinro is introducing ‘KOMOS,’ a top-tier Mexican tequila brand. Tequila is a distilled spirit made from agave (a plant belonging to the Agavaceae family) and is produced only in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in western Mexico. KOMOS is a premium tequila brand made from 100% blue agave. The newly released ‘KOMOS A?ejo Cristalino’ and ‘KOMOS Extra A?ejo’ come in 750mL bottles with an alcohol content of 40%. Both products are currently available at Shinsegae Department Store and Hyundai Department Store.
