Gyeonggi Fire Department to Hold 'Healing Camp' for Staff Dispatched to Disaster Sites Starting April
The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will operate a mental health welfare program called 'Healing Camp' starting in April for firefighters who have responded to horrific disaster scenes.
The Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 14th that from April to September, they will run a total of 12 sessions of a stress resilience enhancement program over a 2-night, 3-day schedule for about 280 firefighters who suffered severe psychological shock after responding to tragic accident scenes such as traffic accidents. The program will be held in Yangpyeong-gun and the Seoraksan area of Gangwon-do.
This program focuses on providing opportunities for participants to comfort each other from their own perspectives.
