The Companion Animal Life Department at Gyeongnam Information College recently held a business agreement ceremony for animal-assisted therapy activities with Busan Saerom Children's Center at the on-campus Pet Plex Hall.

Members of the Gyeongnam Information College animal-assisted therapy expert team "Pet Star," Professor Jeong Eun-gyeom from the Companion Animal Life Department, and department students will participate in animal-assisted therapy activities together with the center.
Gyeongnam Information College announced the beginning of animal-assisted therapy activities in the Busan area by launching the on-campus animal-assisted activity team "Pet Star" on November 18 last year.

Lee Jeong-bin, Secretary General of Saerom Children's Center, said, "Although we had a strong interest in animal-assisted therapy activities, we couldn't find experts, but as soon as we heard about the launch of Gyeongnam Information College's 'Pet Star,' we immediately requested center activities," adding, "We plan to provide a good program for children with many emotional wounds together with Gyeongnam Information College."
