YG, Joint Auditions in 7 Cities with Japan's Avex to Discover New Talent
YG Entertainment is holding an open audition in collaboration with the major Japanese entertainment company 'avex'.
On the 13th, YG announced that the 'YG x avex Audition 2024' will be held 10 times in seven major Japanese cities including Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, and Okinawa. This joint audition conducted by the two companies is the first in about eight years since the 'YOUNGUNS AUDITION' in 2016.
This audition will be conducted with an online video screening followed by on-site auditions. Selected applicants will undergo additional evaluations.
The audition is open to anyone born between 2003 and 2013, regardless of gender or nationality. Applications will be accepted online only from today until the 10th of next month.
YG has produced Big Bang, BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE, and recently launched the girl group BabyMonster.

YG stated, "This joint audition conducted in cooperation with another entertainment agency is the first in eight years since 2016," adding, "We will discover the next generation of new talents to lead K-pop."
