Suwon-si, Recruiting Vulnerable Groups for 'Hope Savings Account II' Enrollment
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting new subscribers for the 'Hope Savings Account II' until the 20th of this month.
Households receiving working housing and education benefits with an income recognized amount at or below 50% of the median income, as well as other lower-income households, are eligible to apply.
If you save between 100,000 and 500,000 KRW per month, you will receive a government subsidy (Earned Income Tax Credit) of 100,000 KRW monthly for three years. At maturity, you will receive 7.2 million KRW, interest, and additional support funds depending on the policy target.
Subscribers must continue working for three years and complete 10 hours of self-reliance capacity education.
The Hope Savings Account II will have its first recruitment until February 20, the second from May 1 to 20, and the third from August 1 to 20.
Other asset-building support programs include Hope Savings Account I, which recruits five times a year in March, April, June, August, and October, and the Youth Tomorrow Savings Account, which plans to recruit in May.
