Gibo, Sharing Love for Lunar New Year at Busan Welfare Center
Delivery of Lunar New Year Special Meals and Gift Packages to Socially Marginalized Groups in the Community
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 8th that it visited the Gammam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center located in Nam-gu, Busan, to deliver special meals and gift packages in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
Fifteen members of the Kibo Love Volunteer Group visited the welfare center on the 8th to share special meals for over 70 elderly people from vulnerable groups in the community and delivered gift packages composed of local agricultural and marine products purchased from Cheoltuk Market, which has a sisterhood relationship with Kibo.
Additionally, Kibo delivered sponsorship funds to local welfare centers through the Kibo Love Volunteer Groups operating in each region. The Safety Management Department, a head office division, conducted on-site safety education at the Gammam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center to raise safety awareness among local residents and promote the spread of a safety culture, and donated 100 mini fire extinguishers for the elderly.
