Yoon Jae-ok, the floor leader of the People Power Party, said, "The Democratic Party's attitude is that minor parties should be satisfied with the tail car and not covet the first-class car." He continued, "Our party has already set the return to the parallel proportional representation system as the party's official stance and has consistently adhered to it," emphasizing, "However, the Democratic Party has been calculating which system?parallel, semi-linked, or regional parallel proportional representation?would be more advantageous to them."
He added, "The semi-linked proportional representation system, born out of a collusion to establish the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, has become a political engineering tool that deceives the public and a form of gaslighting that undermines the pride of minor parties," and said, "For the people, it has become a chaotic situation where they do not know what to look at when voting or where their votes are going."
Regarding the Medical Association's announcement of a general strike over the expansion of medical school quotas, he said, "Some residents from major general hospitals in Seoul, known as the Big Five, have decided to participate if the strike proceeds," and emphasized, "Since the government has expressed its intention to accept the medical community's demands such as raising fees in essential medical fields and easing legal burdens, collective action should be restrained."
