Brothers Fishing in Tongyeong Tragedy... Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Underwater
Brothers who went fishing in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, were found dead while sleeping inside a tent.
According to the Tongyeong Police Station on the 7th, at around 7:15 PM on the 5th, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, and a man in his 50s, Mr. B, were found dead side by side inside a tent set up in an open field in Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong City.
They had come to this location on the 27th of last month to go fishing, and contact was lost starting from the 29th of the same month. They were discovered by police who responded to a report from residents that the tent had remained untouched for several days.
At the time of discovery, there was a hot water mat connected to a butane gas burner inside the tent, and no signs of intrusion or criminal suspicion were found inside or outside the tent.

The police believe the brothers died from carbon monoxide poisoning while sleeping with the hot water mat connected to the burner, and are investigating the exact cause of death.
