aT Discusses Export Expansion Cooperation with Fullerton City, USA
On the 2nd, Kim Chun-jin, President of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), held a meeting with James Go, Policy Advisor from Fullerton, California, USA, Won Eun-cheon, International Cooperation Officer, and other officials at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, to discuss cooperative projects aimed at expanding agricultural, forestry, and fishery food exports to the United States.
Fullerton is a city that declares November 22nd as Kimchi Day every year, participating in the global spread of 'Kimchi Day.' In March 8th last year, the corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the city to expand K-Food exports and promote low-carbon dietary habits, and they have been cooperating mutually since then.

On the same day, President Kim met with Lee Joo-hee, President of Dongshin University, to discuss ways to discover local talents for the development of the agro-fisheries food industry and requested participation in a low-carbon dietary campaign to promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices such as carbon neutrality in the food sector.
