BNK Gyeongnam Bank Labor Union Holds '50th Anniversary Ceremony' at Headquarters
The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Labor Union held its 50th anniversary ceremony on the 6th at the main office auditorium.
The anniversary ceremony, held together with the 51st Annual National Delegates Conference, was attended by about 150 union members, including delegates of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Labor Union, to celebrate the occasion.
Also, special guests such as Park Hong-bae, Chairman of the National Financial Industry Labor Union, chairpersons of 41 branches, and Jeong Jin-yong, Chairman of the Korean Federation of Trade Unions Gyeongnam Headquarters, joined the event, adding significance to the 50th anniversary of the labor union's founding.
The ceremony proceeded with awards presented to exemplary union members, viewing of the 50th anniversary commemorative video, and the founding anniversary speech.
In his founding anniversary speech, Chairman Kim Jeong-hyun said, “Gyeongnam and Ulsan have driven the economy of the Republic of Korea. Gyeongnam Bank has protected the industries of Gyeongnam and Ulsan,” adding, “The Gyeongnam Bank Labor Union holds the history of protecting such Gyeongnam Bank.”
