Gangwon Governor Kim Jin-tae Donates Fire Relief Funds for Seocheon to Hope Bridge

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pil-ho) announced on the 6th that Kim Jin-tae, Governor of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, donated 20 million won to help merchants affected by the fire at the specialized market in Seocheon, Chungnam, return to their daily lives.
Governor Kim said, "I offer my deepest condolences to the merchants who lost their livelihoods in an instant and are in despair ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. I hope this donation will help ease the difficult situation and give strength for a new beginning."
Gangwon Province also provided 70 million won last April to five regions declared special disaster areas due to wildfires: Chungcheongnam-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Daejeon Metropolitan City, Jeollanam-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do.
