In Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, a 60-year-old member of a local agricultural cooperative stabbed the cooperative president with a weapon. The member fled the scene immediately after the incident and was later found dead.
According to the Anseong Police Station on the 4th, at around 3:30 PM that day, member A stabbed the 60-year-old cooperative president B in the neck with a weapon at a village hall in Anseong.
B, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to the hospital by doctor helicopter.
One witness who tried to stop A at the moment of the crime also injured their hand. A fled the scene immediately after the incident. Police, who responded to the report and searched the area, found A dead nearby.
It was understood that A had an argument with the cooperative president at a business briefing held at the village hall that day and left the briefing room. After the event ended, A encountered the cooperative president at the door and committed the crime.
