In Geoje, a Drunk Driver in Their 40s Crashes into Median and Oncoming Vehicle
In Geoje, Gyeongnam, a drunk driver collided with a central divider and then hit an oncoming vehicle.
According to the Geoje Police Station, at around 2:05 a.m. on the 1st, a car driven by a man in his 40s, Mr. A, traveling from Tongyeong towards Yeoncho, crashed into the central divider near the Korea Electric Power Corporation intersection in Jangpyeong-dong, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam.
Mr. A's vehicle then struck a car driven by a woman in her 60s, Ms. B, who was waiting at a signal on the opposite side.
As a result of the accident, driver Ms. B sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
At the time of the accident, Mr. A was found to have a blood alcohol concentration at the level warranting license cancellation.

The police have booked Mr. A on charges of drunk driving and plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
