"AI-Generated Articles"... Naver Adds Separate Labels to News
Naver will start displaying related information on articles written by artificial intelligence (AI) or robots from the 1st.
At the top and bottom of articles automatically generated and sent by media outlets' automated algorithms, the phrase "This article was written through the automated generation algorithm of the respective media outlet" will be displayed. This measure is to prevent confusion among news users amid the full-scale utilization of generative AI.
Naver plans to implement a feature within this month that allows users to directly report false election-related news comments. A separate reporting center section will be established to connect users to the Election Commission channel.
In addition to news comments, the same update will be applied across Naver services such as Cafes and Blogs to prevent false comments.
