Jeonnam Ujeongcheong Supports Underprivileged Neighbors for Seollal Holiday
The Jeonnam Regional Post Office announced on the 1st that it visited the Songgwang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, on the 31st of last month ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to deliver sponsored goods.
Songgwang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center is a facility entrusted by the Jogye Order Social Welfare Foundation and carries out various welfare projects such as operating a free meal service, supporting the daily lives of the elderly, and protecting children neglected at night to support low-income households in the area.
The donated blankets will be distributed to basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups through the facility.
