Gyeongnam Office of Education to Open 778 Parking Lots for Free During This Lunar New Year Holiday
The Gyeongnam Office of Education will also open school parking lots in the province for free during this Lunar New Year holiday.
The Office of Education announced on the 1st that it will allow free use of school parking lots from the 9th to the 12th, the Lunar New Year holiday period, to provide parking convenience to residents and visitors returning home.
The parking lots open for free include 778 parking lots at administrative offices and public and private schools in the province, excluding some schools and institutions unable to participate due to construction or other reasons.
Information on free parking hours and availability can be found in the notices section on the Gyeongnam Office of Education website.
Information on free parking lot openings is also provided through the public resource sharing service for citizens ‘Gongyunu-ri’, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s ‘Public Data Portal’, KakaoMap, Naver Map, and T Map.
The Office of Education stated, “School or educational institution parking lots opened for free will operate without parking management personnel,” and requested, “Users must leave contact information in case of emergencies and vehicle protection, and refrain from actions that may cause inconvenience to others, such as double parking.”
