Until February 8, when purchasing ritual items and more at traditional markets and shopping districts located in Jungnang-gu, customers will receive Onnuri gift certificates or gifts worth up to 10,000 KRW depending on the purchase amount.
This traditional market event was organized to reduce the burden of holiday preparations for residents and to revitalize traditional markets. The event will be held sequentially at a total of eight locations: seven traditional markets including Woorim, Dongwon, Dongwon Shopping District, Myeonmok, Sagajeong, Dongbu, Jangmi Jeil, and one alley-type shopping district, Taeneung.
Jungnang-gu also joined in promoting the use of traditional markets by visiting them for shopping. On January 31, Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi visited Woorim Market, communicating with merchants and market users to check for any inconveniences in using the market, listening to merchants' difficulties, and offering encouragement.
