Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement in Semiconductor Packaging Materials Field
On the afternoon of the 30th, the College of Engineering at Pukyong National University and Duksan HiMetal signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement in the medium conference room on the 2nd floor of Engineering Building 1 to foster specialized personnel in the semiconductor packaging materials field.

View original imageDean Wang Jepil and CEO Choi Changyeol agreed through this agreement to collaborate on industry-academia-linked research and development, operation of educational programs, training of personnel in the semiconductor packaging materials field, and exchange of research personnel and information.
Accordingly, Pukyong National University plans to open and operate curricula reflecting corporate demands centered on semiconductor-related departments such as the Department of Materials Engineering and the Department of New Materials System Engineering, foster specialized personnel, and provide educational programs aimed at improving the skills and job competencies of employees in companies.
Duksan HiMetal, a specialized company in semiconductor packaging materials, will actively cooperate with Pukyong National University to train specialized personnel in related fields, conduct research and development and industry-academia projects, and operate industry-academia-linked educational programs.
Following the signing ceremony, Duksan HiMetal held an explanatory session in the video seminar room on the 2nd floor of the Central Library, where the head of the research institute and the HR manager personally introduced the company, conducted a semiconductor packaging seminar, and held a recruitment briefing for Pukyong National University students.
