Amazon Prime New Series 'Butterfly' Cast Announcement
Actor Park Hae-soo from the drama 'Squid Game' is making his debut in Hollywood. His agency BH Entertainment announced on the 30th that he will appear in Amazon Prime's new series 'Butterfly.' The drama depicts a chase between David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a former U.S. intelligence agent shrouded in mystery, and Rebecca, a current agent ordered to kill him. It is based on a comic of the same name. Park Hae-soo is expected to perform English dialogue. The specific role he will play has not been disclosed.

Park Hae-soo debuted in 2007 with the play 'Annapurna.' He gained recognition through films such as 'Minority Opinion,' 'Master,' and 'Quantum Physics,' as well as dramas like 'Six Flying Dragons' and 'Prison Playbook.' He rose to global stardom by portraying Cho Sang-woo in Netflix's 'Squid Game.' He was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor at the 74th Emmy Awards. Building on this, he signed with UTA, one of the four major American talent agencies, and has been pursuing overseas opportunities.
