Jo Eui-hwan, founder of Samjin Pharmaceutical, donated 50 million KRW to his alma mater, Chung-Ang University.
Chung-Ang University announced on the 30th that Jo Eui-hwan, chairman of Samjin Pharmaceutical, delivered 50 million KRW at a development fund donation ceremony held on the 29th at Chung-Ang University Seoul Campus in Dongjak-gu, Seoul.

Chairman Jo, who enrolled in the College of Pharmacy at Chung-Ang University in the class of 1960, founded Samjin Pharmaceutical in 1968. Since then, Geborin, launched in 1979, gained fame as "the headache medicine for Koreans," and Samjin Pharmaceutical grew into a representative alumni company of Chung-Ang University College of Pharmacy.
Currently, Samjin Pharmaceutical is engaged in various social contribution activities, including the "1% Love Sharing Movement," which involves all employees.
Chairman Jo said, "I acquired a small company in 1968 and have always carried the pride of Chung-Ang University College of Pharmacy, striving to grow as a pillar of the pharmaceutical industry. I hope this development fund will greatly help the college's research and talent cultivation. I will always do my best to contribute to the advancement of my alma mater."
