On the 30th, Chairperson Kim received her appointment letter from Gyeonggi-do Governor Kim Dong-yeon and began her two-year term.
Chairperson Kim is an expert in the women's and family sector, having served as co-representative of the Women's Party from March to August 2020, and worked as a specialist at the Korea Women's Parliament and as director of the Korea Women's Political Research Institute.
Chairperson Kim will serve as the chair of the board of directors, the highest deliberative and decision-making body overseeing the foundation's projects, budget, and regulations.

Chairperson Kim emphasized, "The role of the Gyeonggi-do Women's and Family Foundation is important in policy research and projects related to women, families, childcare, children, and youth in Gyeonggi-do," adding, "I will do my best to promote a culture of gender equality throughout the province."
