View original imageSince December 2013, the Gyeongbuk Harbor Workers' Union has been delivering neighborly aid gifts annually (totaling approximately 170 million KRW) and has been consistently practicing neighborly love through continuous sharing activities such as volunteering at free meal centers and providing scholarships for children from low-income families.
Kim Cheol-seong, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Harbor Workers' Union, said, "We want to contribute to ensuring that no one is left out and that everyone can have a happy and warm Lunar New Year holiday," adding, "The Gyeongbuk Harbor Workers' Union will continue to practice neighborly love through various methods."
Mayor Lee Kang-deok expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank the Gyeongbuk Harbor Workers' Union for helping us feel warm neighborly love through their steady sharing efforts," and added, "Pohang City will also strive to create a happy city for all citizens by increasing the welfare awareness through continuous interest and active initiatives."
