Bitnine Registers 'AgensSQL' DBMS on Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace
Database specialist company Bitnine announced on the 30th that it has registered ‘AgensSQL,’ a PostgreSQL-based DBMS (Database Management System) product, on the Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace.
With this registration, users can access both the Standard Edition (SE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) versions of AgensSQL DBMS on the Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace. This allows users to enjoy the benefits of an open-source based DBMS optimized for cloud environments.
AgensSQL is a DBMS product based on open-source PostgreSQL, enhanced with security features and Oracle compatibility, optimized for cloud environments. Notably, it is developed with global technology by PostgreSQL expert developers, including committers and core team members of PostgreSQL, centered at Bitnine’s global R&D centers in countries such as the United States and Pakistan.
It not only secures the large-scale data processing capabilities and performance required in the enterprise market but also provides an enterprise-grade 24x7/365 local technical support system. It offers high availability (HA) tools to support server redundancy for uninterrupted 365-day service. Stable data migration services through Oracle compatibility are also provided.
Previously, Bitnine registered its products with major domestic cloud service providers (CSPs) such as NHN Cloud, Gabia Cloud, and KT Cloud. Having now completed product registration with Naver Cloud as well, Bitnine plans to take a more aggressive approach to targeting the domestic cloud market.
A Bitnine representative stated, “We continue to register on marketplaces so that customers using cloud environments can procure DBMS solutions quickly and easily,” adding, “Demand for Bitnine DBMS products optimized for cloud environments is also rapidly increasing.”
