5% Discount on Gwanak Sarang Gift Certificates for Lunar New Year, 4 Billion Issued
Starting at 10 AM on the 30th, Purchasable via Five Apps Including 'Seoulpay+'... Expected to Ease Price Burden for All Residents Before Seollal Holiday and Revitalize Local Economy
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will issue 4 billion KRW worth of Gwanak Love Gift Certificates starting at 10 a.m. on January 30th in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
This issuance aims to alleviate the burden on residents caused by high prices before the holiday and to actively promote consumption within the local community. The district expects this issuance to increase sales for small business owners and inject significant vitality into the local economy.
Purchasing and payment of the Gwanak Love Gift Certificates are available through five apps: ▲Seoulpay+ ▲T-money Pay ▲Shinhan SOL Pay ▲Money Tree ▲Shinhan SOL Bank. The certificates can be used at over 12,000 affiliated stores within the district.
The discount purchase limit is 500,000 KRW per person, with a holding limit of 1,500,000 KRW. The certificates can be purchased in mobile form in units of 10,000 KRW.
Purchase cancellations are allowed at any time regardless of the period, and for balance refunds, if more than 60% of the certificate has been used, the remaining balance excluding a 5% discount support fund will be refunded.

Meanwhile, since 2020, the district has actively supported the revitalization of depressed local shopping districts by issuing a total of 183.8 billion KRW in local currency, including 159.9 billion KRW in Gwanak Love Gift Certificates, 12 billion KRW in Sillim Station Commercial Recovery Gift Certificates, and 23.9 billion KRW in special issuance gift certificates.
