Selfish Resident Who Dumped Trash and Stole Only Volume-Based Waste Bags
A man in his 60s who threw garbage on the roadside and stole only designated garbage bags was caught by the police.
The Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 25th that they have booked Mr. A (in his 60s) on charges of embezzlement of lost property.
Mr. A is suspected of stealing 75ℓ designated garbage bags worth about 2,300 won twice on the 8th and 14th in a residential area in Songjeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
He is believed to have dumped the garbage contained in the designated bags on the roadside and fled with only the empty bags.
As a result, a nearby merchant was unfairly fined for illegal dumping of garbage.
