Goheung-gun to Further Accelerate One-Stop Complex Civil Service Processing Speed
On-site Communication with Complainants and Active Civil Service Administration
Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced on the 25th that it is providing civil complaint administrative services by accelerating the one-stop complex civil complaint processing speed with a single visit compared to the previous year.
According to the county, the number of complex civil complaints received in 2022, including farmland, mountain land, environment, and development activities, was 4,234 cases with an average processing period of 24.3 days, while in 2023, the number of complex civil complaints received was 4,361 cases with an average processing period of 18.6 days.
Despite a 3.0% increase in the number of complaints compared to the previous year, the processing time was shortened by 5.7 days, increasing citizen satisfaction.
The main reason for the shortened processing period for complex civil complaints related to permits (reports) is the on-site centered civil complaint processing basic policy, along with the operation of an active and proactive one-stop civil complaint processing system by holding the county subcommittee meeting for development permit review once a month.
In particular, starting this year, the county has implemented a ‘complex civil complaint pre-consultation reservation system’ to reduce the time and economic burden on citizens, and also operates a permit expiration notification service for mountain land use and development activities to prevent disadvantages such as permit cancellations from the citizen’s perspective.
A Goheung-gun official said, “We will provide complex civil complaint services for one-stop processing with a single visit, understanding that even visiting administrative agencies can be a burden for citizens,” and added, “We will continue to listen more carefully to citizens’ difficulties and meticulously address inconveniences to enhance trust and satisfaction.”
