Hurim Networks Signs Distribution Agreement with Famous Cosmeceutical Brand... "Expanding Overseas Exports"
Hurim Networks announced on the 24th that it has signed a domestic distribution contract for the cosmetics brand 'Wellderma,' marking the official launch of its cosmetics business. The company plans to accelerate the sales of high value-added products, primarily through home shopping channels. Hurim Networks expects an additional annual revenue of 15 billion KRW from the cosmetics business, including Wellderma.
Wellderma, which Hurim Networks recently acquired, is a cosmeceutical brand specializing in collagen cosmetics. It has high consumer recognition, having achieved 13 consecutive sell-outs on home shopping in 2021. Wellderma offers 24 collagen product items and exports to 17 countries overseas.
Following the brand acquisition, Hurim Networks conducted a sales broadcast this morning on GS Home Shopping and GS SHOP featuring the ‘Wellderma Black Label Premium Collagen Elasticity Basic Set,’ which includes toner, lotion, cream, ampoule, mask pack, and face roller. This product is newly developed after acquiring the brand. The new product is primarily composed of Wellderma collagen and contains up to 810,000 PPM of French collagen, characterized by fast absorption and the ability to firm the skin.
A Hurim Networks representative said, “After long preparation to commercialize a cosmetics brand, we have secured Wellderma, a prestigious collagen cosmetics brand. Profitability is expected to improve through the premium products newly launched under Hurim Networks' leadership.”
He added, “In addition to Wellderma, we plan to secure various other cosmetics brands. We will focus on expanding overseas sales, especially in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, where the population is large and demand for Korean cosmetics is high due to the Korean Wave.”
