The E-circulation system is a system that applies the basic principles of a circular economy, a resource-circulating economic system, to the collection and recycling of electronic products. By collecting waste electronic products and going through processes such as product disassembly, separation, and crushing, it produces eco-friendly recycling and recycled raw materials, thereby reducing carbon emissions through the recycling of waste home appliances.
Dong-A Otsuka reduced a total of 1,226,342 kg CO2 (approximately 1,266 tons) of greenhouse gases from December 2022 to November last year. The company explained that this amount is equivalent to the effect of planting 188,600 pine trees (30 years old, central region standard).
