Lotte World Tower and Mall Attracted 55 Million Visitors Last Year...Record High
23% Increase Year-on-Year... 10% Higher Than Previous Record
Over 300,000 Visitors Daily During Christmas Season
Cumulative Visitors Expected to Surpass 400 Million by Second Half of This Year
Lotte Property & Development announced on the 24th that the number of visitors to Lotte World Tower and Mall last year reached a record high of 55 million. This figure represents an approximately 23% increase compared to the previous year and is about 10% higher than the previous record of 50 million visitors set in 2019.
The day with the highest number of visitors to Lotte World Tower and Mall last year was Christmas, December 25th, when 330,000 people visited in a single day. On Christmas Eve, the 24th, 326,000 visitors also came. Lotte Property & Development explained that this was the first time daily visitors exceeded 300,000 since the opening of Lotte World Tower and Mall.

It was also the day Lotte Homeshopping unveiled an 18-meter giant Bellygom at Lotte World Tower World Park to celebrate the cherry blossom season. On that day, 298,000 visitors came to Lotte World Tower and Mall to enjoy the full bloom of cherry blossoms and the Bellygom exhibition.
During the summer vacation season in August, many visitors also came to Lotte World Tower and Mall to escape the heat. At that time, Lotte World Tower created a relaxation space in World Park themed "Forest Vacation in the City," installing huts, camping chairs, picnic tables, and more. Additionally, they collaborated with installation artist Lim Ji-bin to hold a giant Bear Balloon exhibition.
Attracting brands and content targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) is also analyzed as a major factor in breaking the record for the highest number of visitors. Last year, Lotte World Mall welcomed numerous brands favored by the MZ generation, such as "Knotted World" and "London Bagel Museum." They also showcased over 150 pop-up stores including "Dyson Style Lab" and "Pok?mon."
