Highly Praised for Efforts to Register 'Open Format' to Proactively Discover Administrative Information of High Resident Interest and Improve Accessibility... Focused on Transparent Administration by Proactively Identifying Information Disclosure Demand Based on Annual Big Data Analysis and Preparing Pre-Information Disclosure Lists
Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced that it has been selected as an "Excellent" grade for five consecutive years in the "2023 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation is a system in which the Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluates the operation performance of information disclosure every year to promote the public's right to know and enhance the transparency and reliability of government administration.
This year, the evaluation was conducted on a total of 550 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, covering the overall information disclosure performance from September 2022 to August 2023. The evaluation was based on 12 indicators across four areas: advance information, original document disclosure, request processing, and customer management and system operation.
The district received a score of 91.09, significantly exceeding the local government average of 84.2 points, earning the honor of being selected as an excellent grade for five consecutive years following last year. It achieved perfect scores in indicators such as the number of advance information disclosures registered, the completeness of original document disclosure, and customer demand analysis performance.
In particular, the district was highly evaluated for proactively discovering various district administration information of high interest to residents and registering it in an "open format," which facilitates searching and extracting internal document data, to improve accessibility and usability of disclosed information, thereby making information sharing convenient from the residents' perspective.
Additionally, the district conducts "big data analysis" annually to anticipate the demand for administrative information disclosure closely related to residents' lives. Based on the results, it newly discovers "advance information disclosure lists" and builds advance information disclosure materials, accelerating the implementation of transparent administrative services.
