National Pension Service Recruiting 24 Experts in Overseas and Alternative Investment Management
The National Pension Service is hiring 24 fund management experts in overseas and alternative investment sectors to diversify its investments.
On the 23rd, the Fund Management Headquarters of the National Pension Service announced that it will conduct an open recruitment for the first round of fund management professionals for 2024 from today until next month 6th.
The newly hired personnel will have opportunities to enhance their global capabilities through various global training programs, specialized education, and work experience at overseas investment institutions, in line with expanding overseas investments and diversifying investments.
The recruitment covers five areas within the Fund Management Headquarters, including overseas stocks and bonds, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity investments, with plans to select 24 candidates: 8 responsible fund managers and 16 full-time fund managers by rank.
This year’s fund management recruitment will be conducted by sector, and plans for sectors not included this time will be prepared and carried out in January.
The recruitment process for fund management positions includes ▲document screening ▲practical interview ▲final interview ▲announcement of successful candidates, with the final hires expected to be appointed in May.
The entire recruitment process will be conducted in a blind manner, where applicants do not disclose their name, educational background, age, gender, or family information.
Only those who pass the document screening will undergo reputation checks by an external professional agency, and in the final verification stage, background checks, identity verification, and drug tests will be conducted.
Applications can be submitted through the National Pension Service website only; postal mail, in-person visits, or email submissions are not accepted.
Applicants cannot apply for multiple sectors simultaneously, and if no suitable candidates are found for a position, the position may remain unfilled.
Detailed information regarding qualifications by sector and rank for fund management recruitment can be found on the National Pension Service and Fund Management Headquarters websites under ‘Recruitment Announcements.’
