Jeongeup-si 'Hometown Love Donation Program' Event... Tax Credit and Other Benefits
Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk has prepared a special hometown love donation event ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the city on the 23rd, this event was specially organized for expatriates visiting their hometown for the Lunar New Year and office workers planning ahead for tax deduction benefits during the year-end tax settlement season.

View original imageThe event period runs until the 16th of next month, and subscribers to the city's official YouTube channel who donate 100,000 KRW or more to Jeongeup City can participate.
Donations of up to 5 million KRW per individual are possible, and benefits include ▲year-end tax deduction (full deduction up to 100,000 KRW of the donation amount, 16.5% deduction on the excess) ▲thank-you gifts composed of carefully selected local specialties (30% of the donation amount).
In particular, during the event period, if participants certify their donation and channel subscription through the city's official SNS channels, 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive an additional 10,000 KRW cultural gift certificate.
The announcement of winners is scheduled to be made on the 22nd of next month through the city's official SNS channels.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “Through the Lunar New Year event, we hope to reflect on the great meaning of hometown, and share meaningful time together through warm participation and donations,” adding, “The collected donations will be used valuably for regional development and the welfare improvement of residents.”
