Busan Jungang Library Hosts Humanities Program 'Trend Korea 2024'
Busan Metropolitan Central Library (Director Kim Jeong-tae) will hold a special lecture titled 'Trend Korea 2024' for citizens through online classes on February 17 and 24.
This lecture is part of the Education Love Humanities Academy program, aimed at cultivating humanities literacy among local residents and encouraging participation in the library's humanities programs.
Through this special lecture, the Central Library will provide citizens with the latest trend information useful for the Year of the Blue Dragon 2024. It will be a meaningful time to preview the changing social trends through key topics such as the never-ending wars, extreme climate, unprecedented high inflation, and AI surpassing humans.
Dr. Han Da-hye, who will conduct the lecture, is a co-author of the bestselling 'Trend Korea' series and currently serves as a research fellow at the Consumer Trend Analysis Center of Seoul National University.
