Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 Reaches 100% Output After Planned Preventive Maintenance
Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 has completed its planned preventive maintenance and reached 100% output.
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) announced, "Hanul Unit 1 (Pressurized Water Reactor type, 950 MW class), which entered planned preventive maintenance on September 30, resumed power generation on the 18th and reached 100% output at around 2:50 AM on the 20th."
During this planned preventive maintenance period, Hanul Unit 1 completed the statutory inspection required by the Nuclear Safety Act, replaced fuel, and conducted inspections and maintenance on major equipment and facilities to enhance the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
