Up to 40 Million Won Support Per Organization
Busan City is recruiting participating organizations for this year's 'Non-Profit Private Organization Public Interest Activity Support Project' until the 31st of this month.
The 'Non-Profit Private Organization Public Interest Activity Support Project' is a program that supports public interest activities of non-profit private organizations that can complement the city's policies and bring synergistic effects.
This year, the total support budget is 1.085 billion KRW, with a maximum public interest activity project support amount of 40 million KRW per organization.
The types of projects eligible for support include a total of eight categories: ▲ Family-Friendly City ▲ Inclusive City ▲ Citizen-Centered City ▲ City with Abundant Jobs ▲ Equal Democratic City ▲ Eco-Friendly City ▲ My Beloved Busan ▲ Healthy and Safe Busan.
Eligibility to apply requires the organization to be a non-profit private organization registered in the city as of the announcement date (the 10th). Applications, including the application form, must be submitted by the 31st via Document 24 or registered mail to the department in charge of non-profit private organization registration.
Each organization may apply for only one project, and the submission form can be downloaded from the announcement section on the Busan City website.
Projects applied for by non-profit private organizations will be reviewed by the relevant department and the general department, then evaluated in March by the 'City Public Interest Project Selection Committee' based on criteria such as ▲ organizational capacity ▲ project content ▲ budget, through which the final supported projects will be selected.
On the 15th at 10 a.m., the city held an explanatory session at the City Hall International Conference Hall to provide detailed information about this year's project, including procedures, eligibility, application writing guidelines, and evaluation criteria, for organizations wishing to apply.
This year's project applies the '2024 Public Interest Activity Support Project Ministry of the Interior and Safety - Metropolitan Cities/Provinces, Special City Common Selection Criteria,' which newly establishes standards such as ▲ minimum self-funding ratio (at least 7% of the subsidy) ▲ exclusion of organizations selected for five consecutive years ▲ exclusion of organizations rated 'insufficient' in the previous year's comprehensive project evaluation ▲ exclusion of national movement organizations receiving or scheduled to receive other national or local subsidies.
