Lee Sang-guk, the new CEO of KT DS, KT Group's IT service specialist company, has officially taken office.
On the 16th, KT DS announced through a general shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting that CEO Lee had taken office the previous day. Without a separate inauguration ceremony, he conveyed his inauguration greetings via email, emphasizing "active and unobstructed communication."
Before his inauguration, CEO Lee practiced open communication by visiting the field to engage in conversations and discussions with members. Starting with a meeting with the labor union on the first day of the new year, he held communication sessions to discuss organizational work issues and goals together until his inauguration.
On the 9th, he visited the Cyber Integrated Situation Room located in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and held a luncheon meeting with members to discuss various topics such as IT monitoring and cybersecurity.
Lee Sang-guk, CEO of KT DS, said, "The Cyber Integrated Situation Room is the control tower of IT services and also the vanguard of information protection, so we cannot afford to lower our guard day and night," adding, "Please continue to do your best so that customers can use KT DS's services with peace of mind."
Additionally, in his inauguration speech, CEO Lee expressed his aspirations regarding communication importance along with "customers and BM, capabilities, and complete transformation."

Born in 1969, CEO Lee earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in computer engineering from Kyungpook National University. He has served as head of the SK C&C Business Structure Innovation TF, managing director in charge of DT promotion, head of BM Innovation Promotion Group and Shared Infrastructure Promotion Group, and vice president and head of the ICT Digital Division.
