[Weather] Saturday Warmer Than Average... Mostly Clear Nationwide
On Saturday the 13th, the whole country will be mostly clear with temperatures higher than usual for this time of year.

View original imageAccording to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the country will be mostly clear on the 13th, but over the East Sea, cold air descending from the north meets relatively warm sea surface temperatures, creating a band of snow clouds.
This snow cloud band will bring 1 to 3 cm of snow and less than 5 mm of rain to Ulleungdo and Dokdo from the morning to the afternoon on the 13th.
The morning low temperatures on the 13th will range from -9°C to 3°C, somewhat warmer than the usual range (-12°C to 0°C), and the daytime highs will be between 3°C and 10°C, slightly higher than the average (0°C to 8°C).
At 8 a.m., temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Seoul -3.8°C, Incheon -1.6°C, Daejeon -4.4°C, Gwangju -0.8°C, Daegu 1.0°C, Ulsan 1.5°C, and Busan 1.6°C.

Meanwhile, on Sunday the 14th, a cold front will form between high-pressure systems located northwest and southeast of our country, bringing snow or rain to most regions nationwide.
Snow or rain will begin falling in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Yeongseo from early morning, in northern inland Gangwon from mid-morning, in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon and the Chungcheong region from midday, and in the Jeolla region and inland Gyeongsang region from late afternoon.
