Samsung's Campaign Message 'Open Always Wins'
25 Athletes Selected from 10 Countries
Samsung Electronics unveiled the campaign message and the list of ambassadors for the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics on the 12th.
As an official partner of the Olympics and Paralympics for nearly 40 years, Samsung Electronics has supported communication between athletes and fans and connected the world as one through innovative technology.
Samsung introduced its new partnership campaign message, "Open always wins." Based on the Galaxy brand identity, it conveys the meaning that "with an open mind, everyone can collaborate and challenge, unlocking infinite possibilities."
Tony Estanguet, Chair of the Paris Olympic Organizing Committee, said, "I am confident that Samsung Electronics' belief in openness and innovative mobile technology will play a central role in the Olympics," adding, "It will connect athletes, fans, and the world, inspiring many."
Samsung Electronics operates the ambassador team called "Team Samsung Galaxy." On this day, it revealed 25 athletes from 10 countries around the world representing various sports.
They will share the three core values of "open mind," "new perspectives," and "self-expression" with the world and communicate with fans.
The team consists of Olympic and Paralympic athletes from various sports, including the new Olympic event of 2024, Breaking, and more athletes from additional countries and sports are expected to be added in the future.
There are six athletes from South Korea: ▲Kim Yeri (Breaking) ▲Kim Heejin (Goalball) ▲Seo Chaehyun (Sports Climbing) ▲Son Heungmin (Football) ▲Shin Yubin (Table Tennis) ▲An Seyoung (Badminton).
World-renowned sports stars such as ▲Sky Brown (UK, Skateboarding) ▲Johan Defay (France, Surfing) ▲Grace Sunny Choi (USA, Breaking) ▲Johannes Floors (Germany, Para Athletics) are also included in the "Team Samsung Galaxy" roster.
