The prosecution has demanded the death penalty for Chosun (34), who was indicted for causing four casualties by wielding a weapon in a shopping area in Sillim-dong, Seoul.
On the 10th, during the sentencing hearing of Chosun held at the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 32-2 (Presiding Judges Jo Seung-woo, Bang Yoon-seop, Kim Hyun-soon), the prosecution requested the court to impose the maximum legal penalty, the death sentence.

Chosun is accused of wielding a weapon on July 21 last year at around 2:07 p.m., about 80 meters from Exit 4 of Sillim Station on Subway Line 2 in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, causing the death of one person and serious injuries to three others.
